Our second stop of the trip was Mazatlan ( the least of our favorite). Now I don't have many picture of Mazatlan and here is why. We all travel to get to the beach to let all 12 kids play on the sand and in the waves. As the Mexican locals are setting up umbrellas and chairs for us they forgot (yeah right) to mention that the beach is lined with tiny transparent jelly fish. They were EVERY WHERE!!! So of course Lexi puts her feet in the ocean and within 2 minutes of being at the beach she was stung all over her ankle and hand. This was TRAGIC... a four year old drama queen being stung by her favorite thing to look at in the aquarium. I think she cried for 4 hours straight. The locals put WD-40 on it to stop the sting. We were lucky to only have one of the children stung instead of all 12 of them. Just remember ask and look around the beach before you get in it at Mazatlan. Let's just say Lexi NEVER ever wants to go back there again.

James and Marissa i think are the only ones who took some pictures they at least had some fun with the wave runners. Marissa made James carry her to and from it so she wouldn't get stung.

My favorite thing to do on a cruise is take pictures next to the animals I think Sophie likes it too.

Your trip looks like a blast. Mazatlan was our least favorite on that cruise too. Oh, and Sophie's eyelashes...gorgeous! Looks like she got Joel's. Lucky Girl!
Fun to see all the pics. Such a great trip. Matzalan was totally lame but just for future reference those box jellyfish are at most beaches they always come up like 8 or 12 days after a full moon, so just always be on the look out. We got them in Hawaii all the time. Lame that they didn't have any signs up though!
Poor Lexie that is way sad those stings hurt really bad! I love Sophie in the pink and zebra outfit, she totally looks like an Ence! How fun what a great family you guys have!
We all felt so bad for Lexi that day! I just hope she will go to the beach another time. I love the picture of Sophie with the towel animal!
