Dec.23, 2013
It’s that time of year again when we gather as family and ponder on the memories we shared through the last year.  We especially ponder about the Savior being born his life and when he sacrificed his life for us.  This last year has been filled with HUGE blessings that we thank our Heavenly Father for.
Lexi is 7 (almost 8) and is loving the 2nd grade.  She is learning so much and is an excellent speller, not like her mom.   She loves to read, write stories and play with her friends every chance she gets.  She is still dancing at AED and made the Super team this year.  She dances about 7-11 hrs.  a week.  She just got her Ariel and is working on her back tuck.  She is a fantastic babysitter and loves playing with her brother and sister.   Her favorite thing she did this year was go to Disney World and cruise with Grandma and Grandpa Theler.  She looks forward to her birthday so she can get baptized.
Sophie or what we usually call her is Bubba, just turned 4.  She started preschool this year and is learning to spell her name.  She loves to learn and most importantly play with her friends. She is really good at doing puzzles and drawing pictures of her family.  She is really into princesses and dressing up.  She loves to dance at AED like her big sister, but loves to cuddle and watch James Bond with daddy even more.   Her favorite thing this year was her Build a Bear birthday party and dancing at her performance.  Sophie is really funny and keeps us laughing every day.
Jack is 7 months old and a wonderful addition to our family.  It is so refreshing and fun to have a cute boy.  He just got his first two bottom teeth and is crawling.  He has already opened one present under the tree.  Sophie watches him like Hawk to make sure he doesn’t do it again.  He loves to EAT anything and everything especially bread.  He is a little whiney but has the most amazing smile!  He brings so much joy to our family.  He loves his sisters so much.
Mom turned the big 30 this year and was lucky to celebrate it in California with her sister in laws.  We have traveled a lot this year and have more planned for next year.   We celebrated our 10 year anniversary this last November and are planning a trip to celebrate this spring.  I had Jack in May and couldn’t be happier with my family of 5.  He is the greatest addition to our family and makes us so happy.  We love our home, ward and our wonderful neighbors.  We are so thankful for the many blessings we have received this year.
Joel is 32 and says he feels like an old man.  He is actually looking better with age if you ask me.  He is really busy with his company Syntek Global and is traveling all over the world.   He will continue to travel starting in January 2014.  He is struggling with his neck.   We are trying to find ways to help him deal with the pain and stress.  He loves watching BYU and the Jazz but most of all loves cuddling with his children.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Years
